Multi-State Payroll & Billing Specialist

Responsibilities for Payroll & Billing Specialist: Process full-cycle payroll for employees across multiple states in a timely and accurate manner Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations Manage payroll deductions, taxes, garnishments, and benefits administration Generate and manage client invoices, ensuring accurate billing based on timekeeping data Monitor accounts receivable, follow up on outstanding balances, and resolve billing discrepancies Reconcile payroll and billing records and assist with month-end close activities Respond to employee and client inquiries regarding payroll and billing issues Partner with HR and accounting teams to ensure data accuracy and process efficiency Report to department supervisor timekeeping issues Work directly with contractors to resolve weekly issues Prepare reports to relevant departments about payroll, invoicing, and expense issues Create invoices for customer using payroll registers Communicate with customers directly in regards to invoices, payments, and other account items that arise Other related duties as assigned. Qualifications for Payroll & Billing Specialist: Minimum 3 years of payroll experience, including multi-state payroll processing Minimum 3 years of billing experience Experience with accounts receivable and collections processes Hands-on experience with QuickBooks (required) Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred (Accounting, Finance, or related field) Strong understanding of payroll regulations and compliance requirements High level of attention to detail and accuracy Strong Excel skills and overall technical proficiency Have a great attitude and be able to have fun! #J-18808-Ljbffr InSync Consulting Services Inc.
