We’re looking to add an Outside Sales Representative to our team to support our growth in the Boise, ID market. In this position, you will develop and maintain business relationships with our customers in your assigned territory and work with the PTSolutions team to deliver products that meet and exceed their requirements. Understands customer business models and product needs. Crafts solutions for customers that meet and exceed their requirements. Prospects new clients in assigned territory. Works to expand sales with existing clients. Acts as a subject matter expert on all product lines. Provides reports on progress in territory and opportunities for growth. Responds to RFQs as necessary. Works closely with other teams on larger projects to ensure deliverables are met. Pursues VMI opportunities. Notifies customers of signature brand products. Works with core supplier target account programs by scheduling sales calls and presentations. Maintains established margin objectives. Encourages customer website usage. Cross‑Border travel required. Bilingual. Other duties as assigned. Required Experience CNC Machining experience, or Industrial distribution or supply chain experience. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required to be Successful in this Position Outside Sales experience is required. Must be age 21+ to drive a company vehicle. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Demonstrated experience managing and growing a sales territory. Ability to quickly build relationships with key decision makers in client organizations. Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Self‑directed and possesses a high level of productivity and personal organization. Plans and organizes tasks and work responsibilities to achieve goals and objectives while remaining calm and professional under pressure.
