General Superintendent – General Contractor General Superintendent for a General Contractor with offices around the US – Medium-sized, main focus on industrial work, overseeing many projects in Southern California with strong compensation, benefits, bonus, and more. Job Details Salary: $150,000 – $200,000 per year. Location: Southern California (Los Angeles area, occasional visits to San Diego). Responsibilities Oversee all industrial operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness. Manage and coordinate manufacturing team activities to complete projects on time and within budget. Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity and efficiency. Ensure safety and compliance standards are met and staff is trained. Collaborate with other departments to align operations with company objectives. Implement quality control programs to maintain high standards. Prepare and present reports on industrial operations to senior management and stakeholders. Qualifications Minimum 15 years of construction experience with industrial or similar field. Degree in construction or related field. Ability to oversee and visit multiple projects across Southern California (Los Angeles to San Diego). Excellent leadership and team management skills. Strong problem‑solving skills and strategic decision making under pressure. Deep understanding of industrial safety and compliance standards. Excellent communication skills.
