Overview Goldman Sachs Wealth Management is seeking an Estate Settlement Services Advisor to support advisors and clients through the estate and trust settlement process while building knowledge and expertise. Responsibilities Review and summarize wills and trust documents to provide clear summaries to advisors. Support advisor education by explaining estate and trust concepts in a clear and practical manner. Collaborate with internal partners—including risk, compliance, and operations teams—to support smooth processes. Assist with client administrative processes following a client’s passing, coordinating with internal teams. Communicate with external partners such as attorneys, tax advisors, and fiduciaries as part of ongoing case work. Contribute to team initiatives by supporting internal projects, training efforts, and materials that enhance team effectiveness. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree required (an advanced degree is a plus but not required). Approximately 3–6 years of relevant experience (financial services, estate administration, trust operations, or related field). Foundational understanding of estate planning and administration concepts. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly. Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively across teams. Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn. Salary Range The expected base salary for this Albany, New York, United States‑based position is $60,000‑$100,000. Eligible employees may also receive a discretionary bonus as of fiscal year‑end.
