Summary: The Bookkeeper is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintains strong internal controls, assists with month-end and year-end close processes. The ideal candidate will have extensive bookkeeping experience, strong knowledge of QuickBooks, and a proven track record managing financial activities across multiple sites. Bookkeeper Responsibilities Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and company policies. Daily bank reconciliation/bank feed categorization Monthly/yearly journal entries and other financial close responsibilities (accruals, prepaids, depreciation, amortization) Accounting email monitoring (emergency payments, approvals, etc.) Monthly Balance Sheet review General account monitoring/maintenance Accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities. Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation. Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial transactions. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Bookkeeper or similar accounting role. Strong proficiency with QuickBooks. Experience preparing P&L statements. Experience managing accounting functions for multiple locations or business units. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and leadership abilities. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations AA or BA in Finance preferred and/or 3 years equivalent work experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr Slgsav
