Position Reference: 01CLFCY009-RN Location Lyons, New York (Wayne County, 35 miles east of Rochester). On-site at a 192-bed county skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility. Employment Type W-2 hourly, per diem. You set your own availability. Compensation $52.00 to $58.00 per hour; nights and weekends paid at the top of the range. Direct the LPNs and CNAs on your unit, and serve as charge nurse for your unit when assigned. Keep the record current: MDS-related documentation, care plan updates and shift reports in the facility's system. Be the point of contact for residents, families and providers during your shift. Follow the facility's infection control, safety and sign-in practice. Required Qualifications Current, unrestricted New York State Registered Professional Nurse license. Graduation from an accredited nursing program and current BLS (CPR). One year of recent RN experience. Able to complete the New York State Department of Health Criminal History Record Check and a drug screen, and current on the immunizations New York requires for nursing home personnel. Strongly Preferred Qualifications Long term care, skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience. Charge nurse, supervisor or preceptor experience. Availability for nights, weekends or short notice.
