This opportunity involves working with high acuity patients, cardiac step-down, post-procedure cardiac patients, and more. The role offers a dynamic and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med/Surg 2 Cardiac

• Care for high acuity cardiac patients
• Interpret telemetry and cardiac rhythm strips independently
• Manage cardiac drips and post-pacemaker care
• Monitor and manage site sheath site after cardiac procedures
• Work with an interdisciplinary team including RT, OT, PT, and ST

Requirements of the RN - Med/Surg 2 Cardiac

• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar setting
• Proficiency with EPIC charting system
• Experience with cardiac drips and post-cardiac cath care
• Ability to read and interpret cardiac rhythm strips
