Monday – Thursday 6:30am - 4:00pm

Friday 6:30am – 11:00am

Occasional OT as needed.

Pay Rate: Competitive, based on Skills, Abilities, and Experience.

Temp to Hire - eligible for raise and benefits once hired on (approx. 90 days)

Must be willing to submit to a Nationwide Background Check and a Pre-Employment Drug Test.

Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Punch Press Setup Operator to join our client’s manufacturing team in North Royalton, OH. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining punch press machines to produce high-quality parts in a fast-paced production environment. The operator will ensure that machines are running efficiently, troubleshoot issues as they arise, and perform routine maintenance to ensure machine longevity and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate punch press machines based on production specifications.
• Load and unload materials onto machines.
• Perform quality checks and ensure that parts meet the required standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve machine issues quickly to minimize downtime.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning on machines.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet production goals.

Requirements:

• Previous experience operating punch press machines is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and production orders.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift and handle materials safely.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
