SQL Database Analyst

Responsibilities Analyze, design, develop, implement, and support SQL infrastructure deployment and management Manage the functionality and efficiency of a group of servers running on one or more operating systems Maintain the integrity and security of servers and systems Set up administrator and service accounts Maintain system documentation Interact with users and evaluate vendor products Develop and monitor policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources Develop and implement testing strategies and document results Provide advice on performance tuning and training to end-users Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned Participate in special projects as required Requirements Bachelors Degree in a Computer Science or related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience 5 + years of related database analysis and/or administration experience SQL experience required Oracle database administration a plus CompTIA Security+ or equivalent recommended Experience in Oracle or SQL administration/tuning; including knowledge and implementation of database high-availability solutions (Windows Server Failover Clusters, SQL Server Failover Cluster instances, and AlwaysOn Availability groups) Experience in monitoring, creating, and managing SQL server agent alerts Experience with Database backup, restore, migration, and Database snapshot technologies/strategies Knowledge on how to build/maintain efficient database table structures for both transactional and warehouse data Knowledge of Oracle 19c administration and performance tuning Migration experience with MySQL and PostgresSQL Candidates must hold a TS/SCI #J-18808-Ljbffr
