A United States Citizenship and an active Secret DoD Security Clearance is required to be considered for this position.The Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing projects that align with the organization's strategic goals. This role manages stakeholder expectations, mitigates risks, and ensures successful delivery of project outcomes. As a natural leader, this person should have strong talent for project coordination and delegation. The Project Manager works closely with project managers, cross-functional teams, and leadership to deliver value and achieve business objectives.Responsibilities:Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, timelines, and manages scope.Align project goals and deliverables with organizational strategies and stakeholder expectations. Lead and coordinate cross-functional project teams to ensure consistency and collaboration.Monitor and track project performance, ensuring timely completion of milestones. Identify, evaluate, and mitigate program risks and issues.Communicate project status, progress, and challenges to stakeholders and senior leadership.Manage resource allocation and dependencies across projects.Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Facilitate project governance, including steering committees and stakeholder reviews.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree3+ years of experience in project managementStrong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, PMI).Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills..Proven experience in managing multiple complex projects or programs simultaneously.PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification is preferredProficient in program management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Smartsheet).Competencies:Strategic thinking and problem-solvingLeadership and team developmentRisk and change managementStakeholder engagementResults orientationStrong written and verbal communicationClearance:Active Secret Security Clearance is requiredMust be a US Citizen and pass a background checkMaintain applicable security clearance(s) at the level required by the client and/or applicable certification(s) as requested by FEDITC and/or required by FEDITC'S Client(s)/Customer(s)/Prime contractor(s). Kanaka Family of Companies is an Equal Opportunity Employer, and all qualified candidates will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, marital status, sex (including pregnancy), gender identity or expression, age, disability, veteran status, sexual orientation, genetic information (family medical history), or any other status protected by federal, state or local laws.
