Title: Quality Technician II
Location: Marlborough, MA
Duration: 12 months+ Possible Extension
Shift: 1st Shift (08:00:AM - 04:30:PM)
Pay Rate: $25.52/Hr. on W2

Job Purpose
The primary purpose of the position is to ensure product complaints are processed, reported and trended timely and accurately. Working under close to moderate supervision, incumbent receives general instructions on routine work and detailed instructions on new assignments.

Key Responsibilities

• Fully support the Quality Policy by building quality into all aspects of the incumbent's work and by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements (including but not limited to being current on all training requirements for the incumbent's position and documenting that training).
• Receive, verify, and perform initial root-cause investigation testing on returned product complaints. Enter all information into GCMS complaint database.
• Ensure product traceability for all product received and analyzed.
• Interacts with other departments (R&D, MFG) when additional information is required to complete investigation.
• Follow-up with Client to ensure product return or to obtain additional information as needed.
• Forward complaints for approval after ensuring all necessary analysis and investigation information is complete.
• Maintain equipment calibration, supplies inventory, and lab documentation analysis lab.
• Assist in maintaining and updating return product test procedures.
• Assess and suggest improvements on existing complaint handling process procedures.
• Maintain lab cleanliness and compliance to Corp procedures.

Quality Systems Duties and Responsibilities:

• Build Quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements.

Qualifications

• AA Degree or equivalent work experience in related discipline and 1 year of related experience.
• Previous complaint investigation experience.
• Technical writing experience.
