Senior Integration Engineer

Salary: $114,200 - 183,400 per year Requirements:

• We need 5+ years of hands-on experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise integrations on iPaaS platforms, with Workato required and MuleSoft strongly preferred.
• We are looking for proven experience building Workato recipes, managing workspaces, and creating custom connectors with the Workato SDK.
• We value experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including Mule flows, DataWeave, API Manager, and Anypoint Studio.
• We expect deep knowledge of REST and SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, XSLT, OAuth, and standard authentication approaches.
• We need experience integrating enterprise systems such as ServiceTitan, Workday, Salesforce, and ERP platforms.

• We will have you lead the research, design, development, testing, and delivery of new integrations across ServiceTitan, Workday, Salesforce, ERP systems, and third-party applications, using Workato as our primary platform.
• We will have you create technical design specifications, run unit and system integration testing, and deploy and support integrations end to end.
• We will have you translate business challenges into efficient, scalable solutions using Workato recipes, connectors, and callable recipes, with MuleSoft APIs and flows where appropriate.
• We will have you design and build RESTful and SOAP API integrations, webhooks, event-driven architectures, and batch data workflows.
• We will have you develop custom Workato connectors and actions when standard connectors do not meet our needs.
• We will have you build and maintain MuleSoft Anypoint APIs, flows, and DataWeave transformations for complex integration scenarios.
• We will have you collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document requirements, review solution designs, and define functional specifications.
• We will have you manage analysis, configuration, and deployment across development, staging, and production environments.
• We will have you lead integration efforts with third-party vendors from discovery through implementation.
• We will have you monitor inbound and outbound data flows, system health, job execution, error rates, alerts, and notifications across Workato and MuleSoft.
• We will have you strengthen error handling, retry logic, and alerting within integration recipes and flows.
• We will have you participate in platform upgrades and release reviews, assessing impact and enhancement opportunities.
• We will have you triage and resolve integration support tickets, partnering with functional leads on escalated issues.
• We will have you produce detailed integration specifications, field mappings, transformation logic, and API documentation.
• We will have you investigate integration failures, perform root-cause analysis, and share remediation plans with management and business partners.
• We will have you collaborate with functional leads, analysts, and system administrators on operations, security, business processes, and their integration impact.
• We will have you serve as the subject matter expert for our Workato and MuleSoft integration ecosystem, including patterns, connector capabilities, and best practices.
• We will have you stay current on Workato and MuleSoft releases, iPaaS trends, and agile best practices.
• We will have you contribute to our integration platform vision and help guide planning and architecture decisions.
• We will have you help shape the end-to-end enterprise integration strategy, including middleware selection, data flow governance, and API management.
• We will have you align with business and engineering stakeholders on objectives, delivery programs, timelines, and dependencies.
• We will have you participate in enterprise architecture and integration governance discussions.
• We will have you design and implement data reconciliation processes to protect data integrity across connected systems.
• We will have you prepare and review audit reports to evaluate integration performance, error handling, and data quality.
• We will have you build dashboards and monitoring views to provide real-time visibility into integration health.
• We will have you maintain reporting frameworks that support operational excellence and SLA compliance.
• We will have you translate business needs into integration-driven reporting and analytics solutions.
• We will have you design and implement AI/ML-powered integration workflows for enrichment, classification, and automated decision-making.
• We will have you build intelligent document processing pipelines for extraction, summarization, and validation of unstructured data.
• We will have you embed natural language processing and generative AI capabilities into Workato recipes and MuleSoft flows for smarter routing, automated responses, and content generation.
• We will have you collaborate with data science and engineering teams to operationalize ML models within production integration pipelines.
• We will have you evaluate and adopt AI-enabled features in Workato and MuleSoft to improve development speed, error resolution, and performance.
