HR Generalist

Overview Campbell Foods is a leading food company that has been connecting people through food they love since 1869. Responsibilities Lead and support HR activities for Dixon and Stockton manufacturing facilities, including talent management, succession planning, performance management, and employee relations. Administer labor agreement compliance, mediate employer and employee representative discussions, and coordinate grievance hearings. Manage compliance programs such as affirmative action plans and other legal and regulatory requirements. Lead diversity initiatives, change management programs, and high‑performance organization plans. Facilitate training seminars on diversity, safety, benefits, and coaching. Coordinate recruiting and staffing efforts, source candidates, conduct phone screens and interviews, and extend offers. Coach and develop plant administrative assistants through training and career planning. Develop and implement employee engagement programs and safety initiatives. Assist associates with benefits inquiries and support injury‑free workplace initiatives. Provide coaching and support to managers on consistent application of plant policies and practices. Key Collaborations Collaborate with plant managers, HR business partners, and corporate HR to align plant initiatives with company goals. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent experience. 3+ years of HR Generalist experience in manufacturing or supply chain, or supervisory experience handling employee relations. PHR or SPHR certification preferred; Master’s in HR or MBA preferred. Strong knowledge of labor relations, affirmative action, and HR compliance. Excellent interpersonal, communication, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills. Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail. Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Workday and Kronos preferred. Leadership skills and ability to build trust across all levels. Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred. Benefits and Compensation Competitive base salary range: $67,700–$93,100, depending on location and experience.
