Relevant laboratory or quality control experience may be considered instead of a degree. Knowledge of GMP, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001 standards is a plus.Experience RequirementsMinimum 1 year of experience in a Quality Control or Quality Assurance laboratory within a GMP-regulated environment. Experience operating analytical instruments such as HPLC, GC, IR, and UV/VIS. Experience/knowledge with using lab instrument. Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC), root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives. Strong data analysis, documentation, and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with Quality, Production, Regulatory, and R&D teams. Willingness to travel for training as needed.Physical CapabilitiesAbility to stand for up to 4 hours at a time. Frequent bending, stretching, and movement throughout the workday. Ability to lift up to 45 pounds occasionally. Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all laboratory safety procedures. Comfortable working in both laboratory and manufacturing environments.Job DutiesPerform chemical testing of raw materials, production batches, line samples, and finished products. Analyze and document test results while ensuring products meet quality specifications. Calculate and recommend batch adjustments to support manufacturing requirements. Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and instrumentation. Prepare and review Certificates of Analysis (COAs) and quality documentation. Support GMP, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001 compliance activities and audits. Conduct ATP testing and product release activities. Investigate quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and support corrective actions. Participate in continuous improvement programs, including Kaizen, TPM, and 5 Why investigations.
