What You'll Do

• Develop, modify, and maintain quality evaluation and control systems for materials processing
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing functions to keep quality standards in place
• Devise and implement methods for inspecting, testing, and evaluating products and production equipment
• Design and analyze inspection and test processes, run statistical analysis on nonconforming material
• Audit quality systems to identify and correct deficiencies
• Confirm corrective measures meet reliability standards and documentation is compliant
• Apply DMAIC, 8D, and 5 Why methodologies to quality and process problems
• Coordinate across internal teams, mostly within the immediate work group
• Support a specialty area such as incoming material, production control, or product evaluation
• Contribute to a Performance Excellence (Six Sigma) improvement project portfolio

What We Need From You

• Bachelor's degree in engineering
• 3 or more years in manufacturing quality or process engineering
• Experience applying DMAIC, 8D, and 5 Why root cause methodologies
• Solid grasp of standard engineering and quality theories, concepts, and techniques
• Comfortable working under general direction, resolving technical problems of moderate scope

Preferred / Bonus

• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
• Experience with PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, or MSA
• Proficiency in Minitab, JMP, or Power BI
• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Quality Auditor (CQA)
• SAP, ETQ, or similar ERP or quality system experience
• Project management experience
