HR Manager

Our client, a well-established construction and manufacturing organization in Nashville, is seeking a direct hire HR Manager to join their leadership team. This highly visible, fully on-site role offers the opportunity to lead and modernize HR operations while supporting a diverse workforce across both field and corporate environments. The ideal candidate will bring strong employee relations expertise, Paylocity experience , and a business-minded approach to balancing employee support with organizational goals. Duties: Lead the full employee lifecycle, including recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, training, engagement initiatives, and offboarding. Serve as a trusted business partner to leadership, fostering a positive workplace culture while driving accountability, compliance, and operational excellence. Manage workplace investigations, employee relations matters, performance improvement plans, conflict resolution, and manager coaching. Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws, including FMLA, ADA, ACA, OSHA, EEO, and overall HR policy administration. Oversee benefits administration, leave management, workers' compensation, open enrollment, and employee communications related to benefits programs. Administer HR systems, maintain accurate employee records, analyze workforce metrics, and provide reporting to leadership. Drive process improvements, support technology initiatives, and implement scalable HR programs that enhance organizational effectiveness. Partner with leadership to strengthen communication, improve processes, and support long-term business growth. Recent: Paylocity experience required Experience supporting manufacturing, construction, skilled trades, industrial, or other blue-collar workforces strongly preferred Strong knowledge of employee relations, employment law, benefits administration, performance management, and HR compliance Ability to navigate challenging conversations, establish accountability, and maintain strong relationships across all levels of an organization SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred Title: HR Manager Location: Nashville, TN - Fully On-Site Pay: $90,000 - $100,000 base salary + bonus potential + comprehensive benefits package Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-4:30 PM #J-18808-Ljbffr Vaco by Highspring
