Wage amp Hour Class Action - Associate Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney in Washington to manage a growing portfolio of employment and class action litigation. This role involves providing high-quality legal counsel, advocacy, and client service, including drafting legal documents, conducting research, attending hearings, and collaborating with support staff to advance clients' interests effectively. Responsibilities Manage class action wage and hour matters from inception through resolution. Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and legal memoranda. Conduct client and witness interviews and summarize statements. Prepare for and participate in depositions, mediations, and court appearances. Develop case strategy and maintain regular communication with clients. Collaborate with support staff to ensure accurate file management and adherence to deadlines. Perform legal research using LexisNexis and other platforms. Analyze employment contracts, workplace policies, statutes, and regulations. Draft, review, and finalize pleadings, motions, and discovery responses. Coordinate with paralegals, legal assistants, and other support staff. Maintain accurate case files, deadlines, and calendars across multiple jurisdictions. Requirements Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Active membership in the Washington State Bar (dual CA licensure a plus). 3+ years of relevant litigation experience, ideally including employment law/wage and hour class actions. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, PDF software, and legal research platforms. Strong drafting, analytical, and oral advocacy skills. Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple matters concurrently. Education Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
