The McKesson Accounts Payable team is hiring a Returns Analyst in Irving TX. Position Description The Returns Analyst supports the reconciliation and recovery of manufacturer returns credit while ensuring compliance with contractual agreements and manufacturer policies. This role analyzes returns data, validates credit accuracy, identifies exceptions, and partners with manufacturers and internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and maximize financial outcomes. Success in this role requires combining finance expertise with digital capabilities to improve processes, leverage data-driven insights, AI collaboration and drive operational efficiency. The Returns Analyst works across systems, automation tools, and analytics platforms to monitor performance, communicate results, and recommend process improvements. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement supplier research exception items to determine validity and provide appropriate support to substantiate McKesson’s position Oversee the reconciliation and analysis of accounting information for complex suppliers and customers. Manage and resolve promptly and accurately incoming suppliers and internal inquiries, escalating if needed to the appropriate resource(s). Fully understand and assess reported issues to determine prioritization Hold partners/others accountable to critical/sensitive issues that could result in a loss of income or negatively impact supplier relationships Oversee special projects – involves reaching out to internal stakeholders, IT, and suppliers to research and resolve disputes, and enhance product packaging and shipment processes Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend solutions for process and automation enhancements Apply an AI approach to work system exception reports daily and utilize reporting to identify possible quality issues Demonstrate strong attention to detail when performing data analysis, trends, and while continuously auditing and analyzing large volumes of data using AI + Human collaboration Develop and maintain data sources within McKesson, across various business units and systems within the returns space Minimum Requirements Degree or equivalent and typically requires 2+ years of relevant experience. Business Experience 2+ years’ experience working with large data sets, financial analysis, research and the ability to create automated projects with little instruction. Strong understanding of financial processes and the ability to ensure accuracy in financial reconciliation Intermediate to expert proficiency with Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint and Excel- VLOOKUPs, complex formulas, and pivots Knowledge of Query building, Power BI, Copilot AI Agents and Snowflake required Experience with tools such as SAP preferred Critical Skills Digital Transformation & Process Design: Demonstrates digital fluency and scales tech-enabled processes to reimagine how work flows across people, systems, and controls Decision Intelligence: Turns data and digitally-enabled insights into clear decisions that advance business priorities and enterprise outcomes Business Partnership: Builds trusted relationships and use finance expertise and judgment to align priorities and move work forward Change Leadership & Growth Mindset: Leads through ambiguity, adapts quickly, and translates transformation into practical action Human + AI Workforce Collaboration: Orchestrates people, technology, and automation, knowing where human judgment adds value while leveraging the scale of digital work Communication & Presence: Communicates complex ideas simply, using storytelling and data to convey messages, creates alignment and drives work forward Entrepreneurial Mindset: Takes ownership of problems, challenges legacy ways of working, and seeks out opportunities to create value for future business needs Must be authorized to work in the US. The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson\'s pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
