Lab Technologist - Generalist - Full Time

Lab Science Saves Lives: Lab Technologists Make It Possible Lab Technologist - Generalist - Full Time NewYork-Presbyterian/Lower Manhattan Hospital is the singular source of care and caring for the 750,000 New Yorkers who live and work south of 14th Street. Situated at the crossroads of the world’s financial epicenter and several diverse and historic communities, we provide world-class care with a patient-inspired community touch. The full-time evening/mid-shift position is needed to serve as a Generalist for the laboratories. This position would rotate coverage between Blood Bank, Chemistry and Hematology, and also assisting to provide coverage for Microbiology testing. This is a full-time position, working Monday - Friday 4:00pm - 12:00am, with rotating holidays and weekends. Weekend shifts would take place 12:00pm - 8:00pm. Preferred Criteria ASCP certification Required Criteria A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist licensure from the New York Education department If pending a clinical laboratory technologist license - must obtain license within 6 months of hire Salary Range $52.61-$65.45/Hourly NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital is an equal opportunity employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr New York-Presbyterian Hospital
