Job Summary Assist the Grocery Dept Manager by managing the grocery and receiving departments to promote sales, achieves profit margins, labor goals and exceeds customer expectations. Essential Duties And Responsibilities The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following: Follow through training, reports and supervision tasks, properly working, clean, full and organized department Develops department schedules, promotions, sales forecast Successfully oversees grocery day and night crew shifts while maintaining retail standards Oversee suppliers invoices and returns Maximize sales potential through effective and proper procedures for stocking merchandize Requests and ensure proper signage Trains new grocery and receiving employees, utilizing all training checklists and materials Responsible for achieving and exceeding margin and sales targets Controls spoilage / shrink; achieves turn goals and inventory control #J-18808-Ljbffr
