We are looking for a committed Locum Physician to provide exceptional obstetric and GYN services at our trusted facility in Waverly, IA. What You'll Do:

• Manage OB triage and handle unassigned gynecological emergencies with professionalism and compassion
• Deliver high-quality care during childbirth, averaging 1-4 deliveries per shift
• Collaborate closely with hospital staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Participate in clinic responsibilities and on-call duties under the MHAS model

Required Skills:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Valid medical license to practice in Iowa
• Board eligibility or certification in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Experience managing obstetric emergencies and deliveries
• Strong diagnostic skills and clinical judgment
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with EMR systems (System TBD)
• Previous hospitalist or OB delivery experience
• Ability to handle high-volume patient encounters efficiently

Preferred Education and Experience:

• MD or DO degree
• Prior experience in hospitalist roles or OB specialty practice
• Comfortable managing approximately 13+ patient encounters daily

Other Requirements:

• Availability to start on 12/31/2025
• EMR proficiency (training provided if necessary)
• Willingness to work clinic and call shifts under the MHAS model
• Must meet all licensure, certification, and credentialing requirements; travel and other reimbursements provided as applicable
