Job description:

Multiple Intervention Specialists / Special Education Teachers

Location: Columbus, OH Job Type: Full-Time (35–40 hours per week) for2026-2027 SY

Position Overview

EDU-AIDs is seeking a dedicated and qualified Intervention Specialist / Special Education Teacher to support students in achieving academic, behavioral, and social-emotional success. In this role, you will provide individualized instruction and targeted interventions aligned with students’ learning needs and IEP goals.

Key Responsibilities

Provide targeted academic, behavioral, and social-emotional interventions based on individual student needs.

Conduct virtual and/or in-person assessments to identify strengths and areas for growth.

Develop, implement, and monitor individualized intervention and instructional plans.

Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and support staff to ensure consistent student support.

Track student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed.

Maintain accurate documentation, including IEPs, progress reports, and service logs.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local special education regulations.

Participate in meetings, trainings, and professional development activities as required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field.

Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist or Special Education Teaching License.

Experience working with students with disabilities and implementing IEPs.

Experience in virtual or hybrid instruction is preferred.

Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.

Proficiency with online learning platforms and educational technology.

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
