Proofreader/Writer (100% Remote)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Remote Proofreader/Writer to join our growing team. This fully remote position is open to candidates of all experience levels , from entry-level professionals looking to build their careers to experienced writers seeking a flexible remote opportunity. The successful candidate will be responsible for proofreading, editing, and creating clear, engaging, and accurate written content while ensuring consistency with company standards and brand guidelines.

Comprehensive paid training is provided for candidates who demonstrate strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities

• Proofread, edit, and review written content for grammar, spelling, punctuation, clarity, and consistency.
• Create, revise, and format written materials, including articles, reports, emails, website content, and internal documentation.
• Ensure all content aligns with company style guides, branding, and quality standards.
• Conduct basic fact-checking and verify information before publication.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve the quality and effectiveness of written communications.
• Maintain organized records of revisions and document versions.
• Meet project deadlines while managing multiple assignments efficiently.
• Provide constructive feedback to improve content quality and readability.
• Identify opportunities to enhance writing processes and editorial workflows.
• Protect confidential company information and maintain professionalism in all communications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.
• All skill levels are encouraged to apply.
• Excellent written English grammar, spelling, and punctuation skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to follow editorial guidelines and formatting standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of SEO writing principles is a plus but not required.
