Patient Service Representative

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Patient Service Representative will manage inbound and outbound communications for multiple ambulatory practices, addressing patient inquiries, scheduling appointments, and ensuring accurate documentation of patient information. Key responsibilities Communicate with patients and staff using various advanced communication tools to resolve inquiries professionally and empathetically Utilize a computerized scheduling system to schedule and reschedule patient appointments while providing detailed confirmations and instructions Attend training sessions and assist in the orientation of new personnel, while identifying process improvements to enhance patient experience Required qualifications High School diploma or GED is required Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Ability to explain complex healthcare issues with empathy and concern Effective interpersonal skills for interacting with a diverse group of professionals Excellent English communication skills, both oral and written, for effective patient interactions
