Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Patient Financial Services Representativeto join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong medical administrative skills, excellent communication abilities, and a thorough understanding of medical billing and patient financial responsibilities. In this role, you will serve as a vital link between patients and our clinical teams, ensuring accurate financial processing, insurance coordination, and exceptional customer service to support our clients’ treatment journey. Responsibilities * Assist patients with financial inquiries related to their treatment plans, insurance coverage, and billing processes. * Verify patient insurance information and obtain pre-authorizations or referrals as needed to facilitate seamless billing procedures. * Prioritize and collect payments accurately and efficiently while maintaining compliance with privacy regulations and confidentiality standards. * Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure all necessary documentation is complete for billing purposes. * Maintain detailed records of patient accounts, payment histories, and insurance claims in our management system. * Follow up on outstanding balances or denied claims promptly (via email and by phone) to optimize revenue cycle management. * Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient concerns timely, professionally, and empathetically.

• Escalate unresolved or high-risk accounts appropriately.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements * Proven experience in a medical office setting with a focus on financial services or billing support. * Knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with healthcare billing procedures. * Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple accounts simultaneously. * Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, insurance providers, and team members. * Proficiency in office software applications and electronic health record systems. * Experience supporting medical administrative functions within a mental health or behavioral health environment is a plus. • Work is primarily performed in a professional office or home environment.
• Requires prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer, including

frequent use of a phone, keyboard, mouse, and multiple computer monitors. * Must be able to communicate effectively via telephone, video conferencing, and in person. * Requires the ability to review, analyze, and interpret data, reports, and electronic documents with attention to detail. * May occasionally be required to move or transport office materials weighing up to 15 pounds. * Requires the ability to remain stationary for extended periods while performing analytical and administrative tasks. * Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position. Compensation * Starting compensation range of $28.00 - $32.00 hourly. Exact compensation will be determined by experience, education, licensure/certifications, and location, in accordance with applicable laws. Salary Range
