Job Description – 48hrs Guaranteed preferred 12/14 start date Unit Information Unit Information: 6th Floor Med-Surg/Oncology 61126 Location: Independence, Missouri Address: 13600 E. 39 Street Floor: 6th Building: Main Hospital Unit Specifics: Number of Beds :36 Patient Ratios :1:6 Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) :Utilize Clinical Care Coordinators, RNs, LPNs, PCTs, Unit secretary Type of equipment :I-med, I-mobile, Neurons (vitals machine), Glucometer,PCA, Wound vac, Chest Tubes, Surgical Drains Documentation system: meditech Scheduling requirements: Every other weekend. Patient Type: Med Surg/Oncology/ Hospice patients, Also accept hemodynamically stable patients requiring cardiac monitoring with no interventions Hiring profile Requested Skill Set: Must have: Team-oriented, Positive Attitude, Like to stay busy, Patient- centered. Certifications Required BLS List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Wound Vac changes Drain Removal IV/PICC line Foley insertion/removal NG Insertion/removal
