This role serves as a key point of contact for incoming referrals and patient outreach, working closely with the intake team to deliver a smooth experience from first contact through appointment scheduling.Referral Intake & TriageReceive and enter referrals from MedSender into AtlasUpload referral and insurance eligibility verification into AtlasTriage and tag service type — therapy, medication management, psychological testing, or a combinationManage specialty payer / contractsPatient Outreach & SchedulingContact patients same-day to confirm service interest and verify insuranceMatch patients to the appropriate provider based on insurance, location, and availabilitySchedule appointments for mental health therapy and medication management servicesSend intake forms the same day an appointment is scheduledFollow-Up & DischargeNotify referring provider upon receipt of referralManage a 3-attempt follow-up queue over 8 days for patients who have not been reachedDischarge patients after 3 failed contact attempts and notify the referring practitionerAll other duties as assignedRequired QualificationsAssociate's or bachelor's degree in health sciences, psychology, or a related field1+ year of experience in a medical or behavioral health administrative roleClinical literacy — familiarity with mental health service types and terminologyStrong phone communication and patient-facing skillsHIPAA knowledge and compliance awarenessExperience with EHRPreferred QualificationsExperience as a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) or medical schedulerFamiliarity with insurance platforms, DialpadExperience in a multi-department or multi-location practiceBilingual — a plusThis is a remote role, you must be a SC, TX, IL, or CO state resident to apply.EEO StatementTrusted Results Therapy Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate on the basis of color, religion, national origin, age, genetics, disability, pregnancy, veteran status, or other legally protected status in employment opportunities and benefits.Other DutiesPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
