Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Specialty: CRNADates/Schedule: Start ASAC for 3-6 months. No weekends.Length of Assignment: 3-6 monthsShift Hours: 8's or 12'sArrival time: 6:30 AM - 3 PM M-F. for 8 hour shift.Cases Start at 7:15 AM. Might be opportunity to stay until 4 or 5 if needed.Call Ratio: No call.Case Mix:B&B. Mostly ortho, general, ophthalmologist, ENT - kids. No trauma hearts, neuro.Some OB(c-sections).Endoscopy. Anesthesiologist's will do epidurals. Cardioversions, MRI sedation and emergency calls throughout the hospital.Trauma Level: No traumaPatient Demographic/ages: Healthy peds to geriatrics# of Surgical Cases per day: avg 20-25/day. (5K procedures/year)# of OR's: 7 OR's + endoscopy ( 2 suites)+ no work at ASC.Support Staff: Anesthesiologist's do epidurals.Supervision and Ratio: 1 Anesthesiologist supervises. 1:4 ratioActive LicenseCredentialing Time Frame: 90- daysCertifications Required: ACLS, BLS- AHA REQUIRED.The Independence Difference: Never worry about your travel accommodations again!
