Job Title – Clinical Laboratory Supervisor – Blood Bank Location – Melrose, MA Role Type – Direct Hire Required Skills / Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology (must meet CLIA & State requirements) Minimum 3 years of experience as a Technologist/Technician in Blood Bank Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred ASCP and/or AMT certification a plus Strong working knowledge of CLIA, CAP, and state regulatory requirements Responsibilities and Job Details Supervise day-to-day operations of the Blood Bank department at a leading regional hospital Oversee staffing, workflow, training, and scheduling to ensure departmental efficiency Ensure quality control and regulatory compliance with CLIA, CAP, and state guidelines Train and mentor team members while managing performance and development Perform bench work as needed to support lab operations Ensure accurate and timely reporting of laboratory test results Lead and participate in process improvement and quality assurance initiatives Maintain and audit documentation for compliance and quality control Handle administrative tasks including payroll and personnel documentation Serve as liaison with other departments and external partners as needed Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm Opportunity includes a $15,000 sign-on bonus for external candidates and strong potential for career advancement within a stable and growing healthcare system #J-18808-Ljbffr Covenant HR
