This full-time position gives you the opportunity to support both individual students and larger initiatives, partnering closely with a dedicated team that includes a bilingual psychologist present several days each week. The building features specialized programs tailored for students with significant disabilities, and you’ll have a direct, meaningful impact on both academic and social-emotional outcomes.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid licensure as a School Psychologist in Illinois
• Demonstrated expertise assessing and supporting diverse student populations, including those with significant disabilities
• Experience with consulting to educators and families in early childhood and primary grade settings
• Comfort adapting to a high caseload and prioritizing needs across a large school population
• Collaborative spirit to work alongside other mental health professionals, educators, and support staff

Role Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students referred for special education and behavioral supports
• Design and implement behavior intervention plans in collaboration with teachers and specialists
• Participate in IEP meetings, contributing data-driven recommendations for eligible students
• Provide crisis intervention and ongoing social-emotional counseling as needed
• Support implementation of schoolwide initiatives around mental wellness and inclusion
• Serve as a key resource to teachers and families, equipping them with strategies and insights to promote student success
