Customer Care Specialist I (Manheim)

Company: Cox Automotive – USA Job Family: Group Customer Care Group Job Profile: Customer Care Specialist I (Management Level – Individual Contributor) Flexible Work Option: No remote option; must work at a specified Cox location. Travel: Not required. Work Shift: Evening. Compensation: Hourly base pay rate is $18.22 – $27.36/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program. Responsibilities Oversee day‑to‑day customer inquiries via chat, email, and phone, taking an average of 40+ calls a day on topics ranging from buyer inquiries on a vehicle listing to assisting sellers with their listings. Provide top‑tier account management for active transactions, including reaching out to appropriate parties, assisting with buyer payments, managing required documents, and handling next steps. Monitor listings regularly to ensure compliance with strict safety and title criteria, gaining strong familiarity with titling processes and requirements by varying states. Learn how to process temporary registration in varying states. Qualifications Minimum: High School Diploma/GED, generally less than 2 years of experience. Preferred: Comfortable on phones and live chat with a high aptitude for technology. Operational support experience, ideally in a tech‑driven environment. Strong familiarity with G Suite (calendar, sheets, docs, drive, meets), CRM experience, and computer proficiency, ideally with Mac O/S. High familiarity with car brands/models a plus. Great multitasker with strong follow‑through. Conversational Spanish language abilities are a plus. Drug Testing – To be employed in this role, you will need to clear a pre‑employment drug test.
