responsibilities:

• Perform specimen handling tasks including presorting, centrifugation, aliquoting, and routing to testing areas.
• Execute high-volume alphanumeric data entry at a minimum speed of 6,000 keystrokes per hour.
• Maintain strict adherence to biohazard safety protocols, compliance regulations, and core corporate values.
• Adapt quickly to daily procedural changes and fluctuating customer demands to ensure top-tier quality.
• Foster a positive, collaborative environment through effective communication with all levels of laboratory staff.

 
qualifications:

Required:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of computers and strong data entry capabilities.
• Documented experience in specimen processing.
• Proven flexibility to work night shifts, weekends, holidays, and mandatory overtime based on staffing needs.
• Medical Clearance: Current Flu vaccine and completion of comprehensive hospital credentialing.
• Physical ability to stand or sit for extended periods in a biohazard laboratory setting.

Preferred:

• Medical background, including familiarity with clinical laboratory terminology.
• Previous experience working within a hospital laboratory or high-volume production environment.
• Basic knowledge of laboratory testing protocols.
