Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Seeking a dynamic Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) to fill a full-time, onsite maternity leave position serving a preschool caseload. This contract opportunity runs from August 31st through December 18 and offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners. You'll provide expert speech and language support to approximately 45 preschool students and collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to foster communication development in early childhood.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
• WA state licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
• Experience working with preschool-age children in a school setting strongly preferred
• Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
• Capable of managing a diverse caseload with varying needs

Key Duties:

• Conduct assessments and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for preschool students
• Deliver direct and consultative speech therapy services according to each student’s plan
• Document progress and maintain required records in compliance with district and state guidelines
• Partner with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams to create supportive communication environments
• Participate in IEP and relevant school meetings as needed
• Maintain a positive and inclusive approach to student care and engagement
