Memory Care Aide $18-26.25 3p-11p (Part Time)

Position: Memory Care Support Partner Type: Part Time Location: Ballwin, MO Compensation: $18.00–$26.25 per hour Shift: Wednesday/Friday/Saturday 3 pm–11 pm Responsibilities Advocate of Empathy: be responsible for understanding the importance of empathy and create human connection with residents during vulnerable moments. Patient Observer: discover residents’ interests, abilities, and what makes each resident unique; collaborate to create appropriate engagement plans and implement strategies with patience to ensure success. Master of the Mise en Scène: set the stage for a successful day by preparing dining, library, and resident rooms for routines, guiding residents through their experience. Life Partner: partner with residents to achieve all facets of daily life from waking to sleep. Excellent at documenting resident care and changes in condition. Assist with orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods. Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age. High school diploma or equivalent. English reading, writing, understanding, and communication skills. Positive and energetic attitude toward residents. Computer skills for printing documents and entering resident information. Active: standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day. Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds. Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and after a fall. Criminal clearance required.
