Position Title Adjunct Instructor (Philosophy) Position Details Position Number: FA9976 Appointment Type: By semester: Fall/Spring FTE: 0.563 (30 hours/week, 9 months) Position Overview To teach General Education courses in Philosophy, especially Ethics. The department is part of the Department of Language and Literature, which teaches GEC courses in English, Foreign Languages, Humanities, and Philosophy. Responsibilities Teach introductory Philosophy and Ethics courses to approximately 35 students. Manage classroom environment effectively. Use technological tools such as Canvas. Qualifications M.A. degree in Philosophy or related field with a minimum of 18 hours of relevant graduate coursework. Experience teaching Introductory Philosophy and/or Ethics. Licenses / Certifications Required No licenses or certifications required.
