Industrial Controls ElectricianA day in the lifeWhen the plant starts humming, you’re the expert ensuring every circuit and control keeps pace. You’ll move from interpreting schematics to diagnosing a finicky motor drive, then pivot to tuning instrumentation or swapping a transmitter that’s drifting off-spec. Preventative checks keep downtime at bay, while your documentation in the CMMS makes the next fix even faster.What you’ll tacklePerform electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair across industrial machinery and facility systemsDiagnose and service motors, drives, starters, breakers, transformers, and control circuitsRead and apply electrical schematics, blueprints, and detailed wiring diagramsWork with PLCs, instrumentation, and electronic control platformsReplace and install components including motors, valves, thermocouples, and transmittersExecute and support preventative maintenance to improve reliability and reduce unplanned stopsEnter and track work orders in CMMS; identify and source required partsOperate mobile equipment and assist with rigging when neededChampion safety procedures while keeping the workspace orderly and cleanWhat you bringHands-on industrial electrical maintenance experience (required)Proven troubleshooting ability across electrical and control systemsBackground with PLCs, instrumentation, and industrial automation (preferred)Ability to interpret electrical schematics and technical drawingsKnowledge of power distribution and AC/DC circuitsProficiency with hand tools, electrical test instruments, and precision measuring devicesComfort working independently as well as collaborativelyWork environment and physical demandsLift up to 100 lbsWork at heights, in confined spaces, and across varying temperature conditionsFrequent standing, walking, climbing, bending, and repetitive motionComfort operating in areas with dust, fumes, and typical industrial conditionsAdditional informationMust pass an electrical aptitude testSafety-first mindset at all times #J-18808-Ljbffr
