Business Analysis Advisor

Position Overview Business Analysis Advisor within PNC’s Enterprise Change organization. Based in Pittsburgh, PA; Strongsville, OH; or Birmingham, AL. Responsibilities Organize requirements effort, including resources, monitoring, project coordination, and managing changes in accordance with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). Elicit complete and accurate requirements and translate them into user stories within Jira. Participate in Agile crew ceremonies and review/modify written stories. Participate in testing as needed. Document process flow using Visio, including current vs. future state mapping and data flow diagrams. Ensure business goals and objectives are fulfilled through solutions. Identify business needs and propose solution approaches and scopes. Clearly understand requirements (need vs. want) to build solutions that meet business needs. Ensure solution requirements are understood and fulfilled by technical design and provide support for implementation. Apply Agile and Waterfall methodologies experience. Conduct research, discovery, collection and interpretation of business requirements. Develop and review complex processes, procedures, workflow analytics and reporting. Provide senior‑level consultation and communicate with clients and technology teams on business designs, problem solving and analysis to support project goals. Recommend frameworks, methodologies and processes for business requirements traceability. Mentor, lead and coach associates to transfer knowledge. Oversee development and maintenance of policy and procedure documentation. Partner with experts and stakeholders to translate business needs into articulated requirements. Communicate with senior stakeholders and technology teams on complex business requirements. Lead multiple business analysis project management processes through planning, quality assurance and effectiveness assessment. Provide direction for successful deployment of projects. Drive development, analysis and distribution of complex reporting. Qualifications University or college degree with at least 3 years of relevant or direct industry experience. Knowledge of business needs, business processes, data analytics, decision making, management reporting, prioritization and waterfall model. Competencies: analytical thinking, business assessment, business process modeling, consulting, effectiveness measurement, information capture, problem solving, process management, project management, requirements analysis, software product business knowledge. Preferred: certifications related to business analysis (no mandatory certification required). Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Strong communication skills with ability to interact with senior stakeholders and technical teams. Experience with Jira and Visio preferred. Compensation & Benefits Base salary range: $55,000 – $135,000. Incentive eligible with payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.
