Step into a rewarding educational setting as a dedicated paraprofessional, supporting students and facilitating virtual services for Speech-Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, and School Psychologists. Key Qualifications:
- Previous paraprofessional experience in school or educational environments preferred
- Understanding of classroom support and student supervision
- Strong communication skills to engage students and collaborate with educators and virtual specialists
- Comfort using computers and technology for facilitating virtual sessions (training provided)
- Ability to adapt to dynamic classroom needs and follow direction from licensed professionals
Primary Responsibilities:
- Support students in their learning and engagement, both in-person and during virtual therapy or counseling sessions
- Facilitate and supervise student participation with online Speech-Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, and Psychologists
- Prepare classroom materials and assist with activities as directed
- Ensure a safe, encouraging environment to promote academic, behavioral, and social development
- Communicate effectively with teachers, service providers, and school staff regarding student needs and progress
