Details Acute care hospital therapy unit setting Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week Weekend shifts as needed No holiday shifts required No floating requirements EPIC EMR charting used Requirements Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy required Current Illinois OT license required (license required if applicable) BLS certification required Level 1 Trauma center experience required EPIC charting experience required Additional Information Evaluate and treat patients of all ages, designing individualized plans of care that integrate goals, treatment, and discharge planning Perform patient examinations, screenings, and outcome measurements using standardized, reliable methods Provide education to patients, families, caregivers, and other healthcare providers Supervise COTAs and rehabilitation technicians in accordance with regulatory standards Document evaluations and treatment plans in compliance with department and regulatory requirements Communicate patient status, transfer recommendations, and discharge needs with the medical team Serve as a clinical resource and role model for staff and students Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates not accepted RTO not to exceed 7 total days per 13-week contract Travel partners are not accepted for this assignment American Traveler Job ID P-748264.
