We are seeking a licensed Professional Land Surveyor to join our Vista, CA office. This is a full-time, on-site position that involves overseeing land surveying projects, managing field survey teams, and preparing comprehensive survey documents including final maps, parcel maps and legal descriptions. The role is a management role which includes overseeing the preperation of topographic surveys, building surveys, construction staking calcs and other related tasks while ensuring accuracy and compliance with client and regulatory requirements. You will also be responsible for preparing contract proposals for both mapping and survey staking, and overseeing survey project budgets. The Professional Land Surveyor will collaborate with project teams, utilize surveying tools like total stations, and contribute to delivering high-quality project outcomes. Qualifications

- Proficiency in Topographic Surveys and Land Surveying
- Experience with Total Station and Surveying equipment
- Familiarity with Building Surveying methodologies
- California Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license required
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with surveying software and tools
- Ability to manage and lead field survey teams
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Experience managing a survey department.
- Experience working in Southern California or similar regions is a plus
