Security Analyst III

Our client, a government agency supporting public health and safety initiatives, is seeking a Security Analyst III to join their team. As a Security Analyst III, you will be supporting the Information Security Section. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a detail-oriented mindset, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Remote (Must be in Wisconsin)

Pay Range: $44 on w2 OR $51 on C2C

What's the Job?

• Partner with organizational leaders to incorporate information security best practices into technical and operational development.
• Communicate risks clearly and provide options to mitigate them considering business impact.
• Support vulnerability management efforts across the environment, tracking, monitoring, and ensuring remediation activities are completed.
• Assist in developing and maintaining security and privacy documentation, including system security and privacy plans.
• Coordinate with various stakeholders to support audit, assessment, incident response, and regulatory activities.

What's Needed?

• Experience with vulnerability management, security compliance, and risk assessment.
• Strong documentation and communication skills, capable of engaging with diverse audiences.
• Knowledge of security concepts, technical requirements, and operational processes.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and manage competing priorities effectively.
• Relevant security certifications, with a federally recognized (ANSI) certification obtained within 6 months of start date.
