RN - MS/Tele

Registered Nurse (RN) - MS/TeleWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with a specialty in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry to join our Resource Pool team. The RN will primarily be allocated to a specific location but may be required to float to other units as needed.Key Responsibilities:Provide high-quality patient care in the MS/Tele unit.Monitor and assess patients' conditions, interpreting dysrhythmias and managing dysrhythmias effectively.Utilize appropriate charting systems, preferably Epic, for accurate documentation.Collaborate with interdisciplinary support services including physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy.Participate in emergency response and cardiac monitoring.Care for a diverse patient population including those with sepsis, dementia, post-operative needs, orthopedic issues, chest pain, and suspected strokes.Qualifications:Minimum of 2 years of experience in MS/Tele nursing; consideration for candidates with at least 1 year of experience.Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS are required.Experience with centralized tele monitoring and various special procedures such as wound vacuum therapy and chest tubes is preferred.Ability to float within the nursing scope to meet facility needs.Travel nursing experience is required.Must pass a telemetry test upon placement.Work Schedule:Night shifts with 3x12-hour scheduling are standard.Weekend coverage is expected every other weekend.On-call duty may be required, and all requested time off must be submitted at the beginning of the contract.Guaranteed hours are based on signed contract hours.Additional Information:Successful candidates must demonstrate the ability to pass an arrhythmia and medication test on their first day.Shaving may be required to meet fit testing requirements on-site.Attendance policies are strictly enforced, and excessive missed shifts may lead to contract review.If you are a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse with the required experience and certifications, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity in the MS/Tele unit.
