Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse Location: Not specified. This role involves providing acute care to patients in the emergency department, covering observation units and ER hold patients. The position requires adaptability to a fast-paced environment with rotating responsibilities across various emergency cases.

Job Details

• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC
• Education Requirements: Valid state license (compact license accepted), at least 1 year of clinical ER experience required
• Location Requirements: Able to work within a 50-mile radius of the facility
• Years of Experience: 1 year
• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Special Responsibilities: Cover observation units with ER hold patients, assist in trauma and pulmonary emergencies, manage a wide range of acute conditions including trauma, neurological, cardiac, and respiratory cases, perform invasive procedures such as chest tube insertions and intubations, interpret arterial blood gases and dysrhythmias, and respond to emergency situations including cardiac arrests and traumatic injuries.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates must provide two references covering a minimum of one year within the last three years and respond to specific employment questions during the application process.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
