The role supports high-risk obstetric populations within a culturally diverse environment, requiring experience in obstetrical procedures and neonatal care.

Job Details

• Certifications: ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), AWHONN Intermediate (Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses), BLS (Basic Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• Education Requirements: Must possess a valid state license; compact license accepted.
• Experience: At least 1 year of relevant labor and delivery experience.
• Location Requirements: Candidates must have a valid state license in the applicable state or a compact license.
• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Requirements: Candidates should have experience in obstetrical procedures such as assist with high-risk delivery, sterile speculum exams, vaginal delivery, fetal monitoring, and neonatal assessments.
• Responsibilities include assisting with cesarean sections, postpartum care, neonatal procedures, and supporting mother and infant care using Baby Friendly protocols.
• Candidates must be willing to float within their scope of practice, with travelers considered first for floating needs.
• Submission must include responses to whether the candidate has worked at a similar facility previously, with details, and two references covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) within the last 3 years.
