As a Global New Product (Planning) Lead, you will help shape the strategic direction of Takeda’s Neuroscience pipeline by integrating scientific, commercial, and strategic insights to inform early product development and long‑term disease area strategy.This role offers an opportunity to work at the intersection of science and commercial strategy—partnering closely with R&D, global commercial teams, and cross‑functional experts to bring forward the next generation of Neuroscience therapies.Your ResponsibilitiesBuild and evolve long‑term Neuroscience disease area strategies.Conduct early commercial evaluations including opportunity assessment, competitive insight, forecasting inputs, and value driver analysis.Partner with global scientific teams to shape early asset development plans and strategic narratives.Drive cross‑functional collaboration across R&D, Medical, Access, and commercial regional partners.Support governance and decision‑making with high‑quality, evidence‑based strategic recommendations.Contribute to business development insights and assessments.QualificationsBachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MSc, PhD) in Neuroscience preferred.10+ years in strategy, new product planning, commercial, or related roles. For Location:USA - MA - Cambridge - Kendall Square - 500U.S. Base Salary Range:$177,000.00 - $278,080.00The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location. U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/ or long-term incentives.
