Job Title Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown Location Wichita Falls, TX | Progressive Care Unit Schedule / Job Type Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM) Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting with a typical patient ratio of 1:4 Float divisionally as needed, including overflow areas and ED holds Maintain compliance with all required documentation, with hard document due dates set 3 business days prior to start Complete required orientation modules during scheduled orientation (average 2–3 hours, recorded via Oracle) Availability to work 2–3 holidays, which may include Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day Required Qualifications Active and valid RN license (must be in-hand prior to start) ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required – must be submitted with application Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required Prior travel nursing experience required Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application or prior to offer acceptance Preferred Experience / Skills Experience with Epic EMR strongly preferred CPI certification preferred Why Join Us Late October start date offering a quick transition into a structured and supportive PCU environment Opportunity to work in a dynamic setting with exposure to diverse patient populations across multiple care areas Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID 775646.
