Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Response Specialist in LOS ANGELES, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a professional financial institution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. In this customer-focused role, you will support access awareness, respond to site needs, and deliver clear communication with integrity, teamwork, and a people-first approach.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the financial services location, including lobbies, offices, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help identify and report suspicious activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, help to deter unauthorized entry, and document observations, incidents, and/or maintenance concerns in accordance with site protocols.
• Support day-to-day operations at the location by providing directions, answering questions, and reporting security-related issues, hazards, and/or emergencies to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
