Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 38-bed Level II Trauma, mixed ICU setting serving medical, surgical, cardiac, and neurosurgery patients
• Manage care for post-operative open-heart surgery patients as well as patients requiring VV/VA ECMO, intra-aortic balloon pump, Impella, and CRRT
• Perform and assist with bedside procedures including bronchoscopies, GI scopes, chest tube insertions, and arterial and central line insertions
• Maintain airway management and perform frequent drip titrations in accordance with patient acuity and care protocols
• Operate and monitor specialized equipment including Stryker beds, Avea ventilators, GE monitors, Baxter IV pumps, Maquet IABP, Vigilance II monitors, and ECMO devices
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech electronic medical records system

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1–2 years of current acute care ICU experience in a hospital setting
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with Meditech EMR
• CVICU or CTICU experience, specifically caring for immediate post-operative open-heart surgery patients
• Strong attention to detail and ability to function effectively as a collaborative team member
