Position Overview NyproMold is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented EDM Operator to join our precision tooling team. The EDM Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining EDM equipment to produce high-precision mold components that meet exact specifications and quality standards. This position plays a critical role in supporting our mold manufacturing operations by ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and on-time delivery. Multiple Shifts Available Key Responsibilities Set up and operate Sinker EDM machines Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and process sheets Perform electrode setup, alignment, and burn operations Monitor machine performance and adjust offsets as needed Inspect finished components using precision measuring tools Maintain required documentation and production records Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting Work collaboratively with Toolmakers, Programmers, and Engineering teams Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards Qualifications 2+ years of EDM operating experience Experience in mold manufacturing or precision machining environment strongly preferred Ability to read and understand blueprints Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work independently and manage priorities High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training a plus Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift up to 50lbs Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment What We Offer Competitive compensation based on experience Comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision) 401(k) with company match Paid time off and holidays Career growth and advancement opportunities Clean, modern manufacturing facility The hourly pay range for this role is $16.35 - $29.42.
