ABA Feeding Therapist

Overview ABA Therapist / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) – Feeding Program The Healthy Beginnings (HB) Therapist position at the Verbal Beginnings Center involves both case management and clinical responsibilities. The HB Therapist is expected to have higher proficiency and serve as a model for all therapists. Primary responsibility is to deliver 1:1 therapeutic services to clients in the HB program. The role may also include case management duties. What Sets Us Apart In ABA Therapy Supportive, fun and rewarding atmosphere for staff Student loan assistance for becoming a BCBA and free supervision hours Collaborative environment promoting professional growth and learning Excellent benefits for eligible employees Schedule and Compensation Schedule: Full‑time, Mon‑Fri 7:30 am – 4:00 pm Compensation: $22.00 – $23.00 per hour, based on experience and certifications Responsibilities Provide 1:1 services for clients within the team Implement ITT and NET programming related to mealtime behavior goals Meet a requirement of 30 billable hours per week Participate in team meetings and training workshops Prepare for sessions with appropriate materials and a positive attitude Collect data to track client progress on individualized goals Ensure clients remain in a safe and positive environment at all times Collaborate with team members on daily tasks, including cleaning and stocking the unit Complete all assigned duties, including conversion of sessions in Central Reach Follow the policies and procedures of Verbal Beginnings, LLC Qualifications Patience, compassion, and desire to help children with autism achieve their goals Genuine interest in learning about ASD and ABA therapy Ability to work independently and collaborate with others High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress) preferred At least 6 months of experience working with children preferred BLS/CPR certification, including pediatric BLS/CPR Prior experience or knowledge of individuals with ASD and ABA therapy Physical Demands Perform activities such as reaching, grasping, walking briskly or running, sitting on the floor, kneeling, crouching, ascending and descending stairs, and transitioning quickly between positions throughout the day Interact effectively by speaking clearly and using age‑appropriate language Complete Safety Care training and required recertifications, including carrying children per Safety Care training; active participation is a condition of employment Equal Employment Opportunity Statement Verbal Beginnings’ personnel policies, procedures, and practices prohibit discrimination on the basis of race, color, religious creed, disability, ancestry, national origin, age, or sex.
